How Online Guitar Lessons Work

Choosing guitar lessons is exciting. But if you’ve never experienced live online lessons before, you’re probably wondering things like…

See how it works ⬇️

Will My Child Stay Focused?

At GuitarLove, kids don't just watch - they play.

Our lessons are designed around participation. Kids stay involved the entire lesson.
Kids learn by playing, trying, asking questions, and receiving encouragement—not by sitting back and watching.

They play

Students spend their lessons with their guitar in hand, learning by doing.

They answer questions

Teachers keep kids thinking, guessing, and participating throughout every lesson.

They receive real feedback

Teachers watch each student closely, offer encouragement, and help them improve one small step at a time.

They share their progress

Students take turns playing for their teacher and classmates, celebrating successes and encouraging one another.

Lessons fly by

Because there's always something to try, play, or share, lessons fly by—and most kids are surprised when it's already time to finish.

How do kids learn online?

Learning online is simpler than you might think.

We can see everything that matters.

We watch your child's hands, posture, rhythm, and technique as they play, so we can give helpful feedback every step of the way.

Music right on the screen.

We share music on screen and highlight exactly what we're working on. We ask questions and keep everyone thinking and participating.

Simple & step by step.

Teachers break songs and skills into small steps, demonstrate each one clearly, then watch your child's hands as they play so they can offer encouragement and helpful feedback.

An environment where kids can learn.

What are small groups like?

We teach in small groups because they create a learning environment where kids can participate, receive regular feedback, and grow in confidence week after week.

🌱 Safe & Encouraging

Mistakes are a normal part of learning. Our teachers create an encouraging environment where kids feel comfortable trying something new.

👀 Learn From Others

Watching another student learn a new skill or ask a question often helps concepts click even faster.

🎸 Similar Skill Levels

Students learn alongside other kids of a similar age and experience, helping lessons feel comfortable, achievable, and encouraging.

👏 Individual Feedback

Teachers closely watch each student play, offering encouragement and guiding them one small step at a time.

🎤 Join In

Students are encouraged to ask questions, participate, and learn by doing throughout every lesson.

⭐ Confidence Grows

Week after week, students become more comfortable participating, trying new things, and sharing what they've learned.

What happens after we join?

After registering, we’ll help you choose the class that’s the best fit for your child’s age and experience.

You’ll receive your zoom link, book link, and tuning instructions – everything for your first class.

There’s nothing complicated to set up.

When lesson day arrives, your child simply grabs their guitar, clicks their zoom link, and joins their teacher and classmates!

And between lessons?

After every lesson, you’ll receive lesson notes so you know what your child learned and what they’re working on next.

Some weeks your child will practice a lot.

Some weeks they won’t.

Practice between lessons always helps, but what matters most is showing up each week ready to learn.

Week after week, month after month, those lessons build into real guitar skills and lasting confidence.
